Many thanks to the party store next door to the Veterans’ Center – I didn’t realize the food bank would be closed for Veterans Day. The party store donated some cooler space to store our donations overnight and made sure it got to the center on Friday.

No requested donations this week – after looking at sale items and coupon matchups I’m not seeing great grocery deals.
If you want a nice deal to pamper yourself, my recommendation would be the buy one get one free deal on Renpure Shampoo at Riteaid this week (with a Riteaid store card). Look for one with a mail in rebate hang tag on it. You’ll pay 6.99 for a shampoo, get the conditioner free, get a dollar back in a register coupon, and you can mail in your receipt for a full rebate.
